Professional mentorship

For dietitians, strength coaches, athletic trainers, and other members of the performance and wellness community looking for guidance in all areas of sports nutrition.

Professional mentorship is one of the most powerful ways of accelerating your career. Unfortunately, sports nutrition mentorship has not traditionally been universally inclusive. Many current mentor-mentee relationships are a result of reaching out to someone in their network. There are many highly motivated and qualified individuals looking for help in sports nutrition that don’t have to social capital others may have.

As a remedy, I’m hosting virtual mentorship meetings. This initiative is an effort to help you build your network and find mentorship in a group and 1 on 1 setting.

Details:

  • Meetings will be 40 minutes long and hosted via Zoom.

  • Time will be 7:00pm US Eastern Time Zone.

  • Each meeting will have a “mini focus” where we spend 10 minutes on a focused topic. The rest of the meeting will be open to topics and questions shared by participants.

How to get the most out of these meetings:

  • Use the chat box to ask questions and share your contact info with other members

  • Link up with someone who can help you after the meeting. The purpose of these are also to network.

  • Email me your background, goals you want help with, and skills or areas you can help mentor others. I will introduce you and share during the meetings.

Current schedule and focus of meetings are as follows:

  • Weds, Jan 4, 2023, 7pm

    • mini focus: nutrition and strength coaches

  • Weds, Jan 11, 2023, 7pm

    • mini focus: quiet quitting- how to make the most out of a dead-end job before you jump ship

    • mini focus: how to get your first sports nutrition job

  • Weds, Jan 25, 2023, 7pm

  • Future meetings are TBD

PS- If you need individualized and laser focused mentorship from me, you can contact me about paid professional coaching.
